Who has the more bi-partisan voting record?
Senator McCain (51%, 257 Votes)
Senator Obama (49%, 249 Votes)
Total Voters: 481
The results were close this week, and their closeness was likely the result of the difficulty of the question. In 2007, Senator Obama was ranked the senate’s most liberal voter by the National Review. Meanwhile the publication announced McCain’s lifetime voting record the fifth most conservative in the senate. America’s two major parties have given us their two favorite candidates and so it should be no surprise that they are very partisan ones. Of course, bi-partisanship is not the most important aspect of good leadership—at least it would not be so for Mr. Obama. If he is elected and the 111th Congress remains as Democratic as the last one, he will need not pursue bi-partisan legislation to get things done. If Mr. McCain is elected however, he will need to make many sacrifices on conservative stances and many of those who might vote for him won’t be happy about it.

I don’t know what to tihnk. It seems like McCain has been misleading the public about his maverick status. The way I see it he’s no maverick at all. I doubt Obama is but he’s never claimed to be right? I’d rather vote for the honest guy.
That’s because McCain HAS been misleading. Look at his voting record and you’ll see what’s really going on.
Hard to say.
Obama was leading for a while there. I thought he had it. Knowledge seemed to lose out.
This isn’t all that relevant. The tables have turned with the economy and Barack will win this election.
